The 2020 Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance contains significant changes to Part 4 that all senior leaders and Designated Safeguarding Leads need to know about.
In this webinar, our leading HR and safeguarding experts Emma Hughes and Dai Durbridge will provide you with all the information you need in order to meet your statutory obligations.
They will:
- Outline the two main changes to the KCSIE documentation and highlight the likely changes you will need to implement in your setting;
- Discuss which of your HR and education policies you should update and why; and
- Review how the changes will impact the way in which you engage with and manage allegations against agency staff, starting from the initial setting of their contractual terms.
All schools and trusts have a legal obligation to keep children safe. It is important that you understand and implement the changes in order to avoid unnecessary risk. Throughout this webinar, Dai, Emma and the team will use live case studies to demonstrate how you can keep your pupils safe and will share advice and top tips on interpreting and implementing the changes.
