Please note: This event is aimed at senior level decision makers in HR including directors, heads, officers, partners, managers and vice presidents.
We are delighted to invite you to our session on 'Navigating your way through high profile sensitive reviews and investigations'. Browne Jacobson will host the event at our new Birmingham office 4pm until 5.30pm on Wednesday 22 March 2023, followed by an opportunity for HR colleagues to network with drinks and canapés.
The session will include:
- A spotlight on the increased role of cultural reviews in the health and care sector with some thought leadership on when to use cultural reviews and how they differ from other employment related investigations. We will touch on issues such as anonymity, malice and relationship breakdowns following the raising of concerns.
- A look at best practice emerging from other high-profile reviews, tips for your Boards, the interaction between public law, GDPR and employment law obligations.
- How to promote a more effective Speak Up culture, with a discussion about the updated national Freedom to Speak Up Policy and guidance, prior to the introduction of the national template policy in the NHS by the end of January 2024.
The session will be an in-person only event chaired by Jacqui Atkinson, Partner and Head of the Employment Healthcare team at Browne Jacobson. Jacqui will be joined by Partners Helen Badger and Bridget Prosser, with their own perspectives from their work. The session will include Q&A with the team in a Chatham House rules event aimed at sharing experience, knowledge and learning.
We hope you will be able to join us.
